    Hey all,

I just picked iup an ipad - obviously loaded with 4.2.1,I see a few tutorials online to revert back to 4.1, I cant seem to find source firmware for 4.1 for ipad

I have downloaded a lot of "possibles" but keep getting an error message that the firmware is incorrect.

Anyone point me in the direction of firmware 4.1 for the ipad?

    Thanks in advance...

    Thanks!

Am I reading it right that the previous firmware for the iPad before 4.2.1 is 3.22?

    I see that now - I've tried 3.2.2, then getting a 3194 error - same for 3.2.1

So I'm downloading 3.2 to see if I can avoid the 3194 error

As above there's no 4.1 for iPad. Even if there was, you wouldn't be able to install it as apple are no longer signing that version. The only way you could downgrade to it (if it existed) would be if you have your SHSH saved with TinyUmbrella or Cydia.

The same is true for 3.2/3.2.1/3.2.2/anything other than 4.2.1
