floor tiles

    hi guys

    we are getting our hall floor tiled and i would just like to know what is the main size spacer used beyween each tile.the lady in the shop said not to use any just butt then together but the tiler recommends 5mm.i`ve put down some dry with 3mm and not too bad.would look better butted altho as they shiney porcelean.

    She works in a tiling shop and she said not to use spacers? She sounds like a bleedin spacer!!

    Anyway - use 5mm spacers at the corners of all tiles.

    5mm joints are very wide depending on the size of the tile. 3mm is way more than enough.
