Blackpool v Liverpool

A few quid to be made here somewhere.. Just checked PP odds, Blackpool 11/4 and Liverpool evens.
Liverpool at evens really caught my eye. Their away from has been dreadful but Blackpools home form has not been near as good as their away form. Their away record has to improve sometime and think it will start tonight. Would be more confident if Gerrard was playing but still think they will have enough.
The surprise element of Blackpool has slowly gone IMO, although they will still take the odd scalp and hopefully stay up.
Any one seen better odds on Liverool around? Havent looked elsewhere yet.

I have just looked at oddschecker, and 20/21 is best price available at the minute.

    Ha thats very true!
Just thought it was a decent price after weighing it up. Having said that, thay could get stuffed and no one would be that surprised either.
Will have a look later and decide whether to take the plunge!

Was very tempted by the price on offer myself but I just couldn't do it.. Liverpool have lost me so much money over the past two years I couldn't justify it. I do think however that they'll turn it around under Kenny but I think I'll wait until their first home game before backing them.

Good luck those who take it though.

As I said they could cover the handicap or else get beaten, very hard to predict how they'll perform in the league.

Personally I fancy them and wouldnt be at all surprised if you were collecting @ 13/5.

Think Adam to score any-time would be a decent shout, has gotten a few this season and is probably their most creative midfielder.

With Liverpool rumoured to be interested in him surely he'll be trying to make an impact.

Still wouldn't be too confident of backing Liverpool, so will probably side with Blackpool and hope that Torres isn't on form, because if he his he'll tear Blackpool apart

Think I'll be going for over 2.5 goals in this one. I expect high attacking football and some defending errors in this game. Kuyt should be given a more forward role with Gerrard's absence and hopefully King Kenny can reignite Torres' form. I at least expect him or Adam or possibly both to be on the scoresheet.

Just Backed Liverpool at even money.... They actually didnt do too bad against United at the weekend and I think they will return to winning ways tonight. Although I could be eating my words come 10 o clock this evening.... Good luck to all

Couldnt back 'Pool no matter who is in charge, they werent that good against Utd, Kelly and Reina were the only 2 players who performed imo.
