I'm looking into finding some of the Wiiware gems available, I'm on a work proxy so can't google it, what are your favourite wiiware titles?

Cave Story And World of Goo are essential

Also worth getting are Megaman 9, Castlevania rebirth, Contra Rebirth, Gradius Rebirth, Toki Tori, Lost Winds. That's off the top of my head. You shoudl check this site out for reviews

    Hey ToiletFusion,
World of Goo and Cave Story are most definitely first pick buys. I would probably add Hydroventure (called Fluidity in some places) to that list, an excellent physics based puzzler. Other titles worth checking out:

*Lostwinds: Winter of the Melodias - superior in every way to the original, extremely fun platforming puzzler and with very beautiful scenery.
*Swords & Soldiers - quirky and often very funny. A mix between RTS and Tower Defense
*Nyxquest: Kindred Spirits - another excellent platformer, unfortunately there's very little variety in its environments

I've also heard good things about 'And Yet It Moves', I've yet to play it but it could be worth a look. Well that's about it from me, hope I've helped:)

The new Monkey Island game (Tales Of ...) is on WiiWare, I haven't played it yet but is meant to be brilliant.

I've heard that Wii is not the platform of choice though, due to the Wii-Ware file size restrictions (assume that it affects the level of audio or texture compression?).

Played the demo of Episode 1 on PC (can't get the bugger to activate my license...), can't say I was splitting my sides at it - it played out like fan-fiction to be honest - but it was only a 5 minute scene with a single simple puzzle so it's probably not fair to judge it on that. And they did squeeze in the obligatory sword fighting / insult reference.
