I hope I’m in the right forum. I need advice on what software to use.
I formatted my external Fat32 usb portable hardrive in with a popcorn hour c-200.
I need it to work on a windows pc now. The PC doesn’t recognise the HD when I plug it in. I assume because its ext3. How do I format it to fat32 again. I only have one computer running XP.

    Thanks

Right click on my computer and to to properties. On the Hardware tab (iirc) Press Device Manager. Go down to disk management on the left (make sure you have the hard disk plugged in before this point). You should see your external drive there as well as your internal one. Id say right click on any existing partitions on the external and delete them, then create one fresh partition and format as you choose. Bear in mind you will lose any data on the drive.
