Just saw my first payslip, and my weekly tax credit is €69.62, not the standard €63.47. As far as i am aware, my only credits are the single and employee credits, so can anyone shed any light on this? It's not a bad thing obviously!

anything new you may have added?

    rent credit
    company healthcare

overpayment last year that you're getting back. A quick check of PAYE online should enlighten you anyway, they'll have all the details up there.

If you ring 1890222425 with your PPS number handy they will give you a breakdown of your credits. Just so you know and can verify them. This could eliminate a shock of underpayment of tax at year end.
