I know its not a Focus but I hit a pothole in my Laguna last sunday week and have to replace both front shocks as broke the spring and damaged the shock on front passenger side.

I put gas filled Monroe Reflex shocks on and my local motor factors wanted €75 plus vat per shock so I did a bit of research online and through monroeshop.co.uk I got the two delivered and everything for stg£89!! Thats €108!

I find them very good and they do all makes so mabey it might be an idea for you.

Hi I got 2 KYB rear shocks for my Focus last year from Micks garage delivered next day for 90. Motor factors and Ford wanted nearly 200 for shocks. Got my mechanic to fit them charged me 30.
