The details have yet to come out other than posts from Rush Sturges and Tribe Riders on facebook saying its happened, but to put this into context, the current record, set by Tyler Bradt on the 186ft palouse falls was already ridiculous:

FWIW, Tyler broker Rafa Ortiz's record, not his own, when he ran Palouse.

It was Pedro Olivia's record that Tyler broke, Rafa Ortiz has the 2nd (maybe now 3rd) higest waterfall, but he ran that after Tyler ran Palouse.

I assure you, he's very sane. He's a top notch boater, I know him from Uganda, and the **** he used get up to, running Silverback at midnight twisted off his face, running Itanda in a raft, there's no limit to the stuff he'll pull.
