Dublin to Newbridge by bus

    Hi there,

My son needs to get from school in Dublin to Newbridge. I was trying to find detailed information on Bus Eireann stops for routes 126 and 126a, but that is not shown on their timetables (which I find really useless, for instance 126 one shows the stop in Kildare Street, but not in Adelaide Road, where the bus is stopping for sure). His school bus can drive him as far as Citywest, but then where does he look for the Citywest Bus Eireann stop to Newbridge? Is it on the N7 and if so, where exactly? I was trying to locate it while driving, but without success :( Also, does anyone know where do I get a timetable for that particular stop for 126 and 126a? Whensmybus.ie does not seem to be working :(

I presume the bus coming back is across the road from the one going in.

The timetable appears to only list the main stops. There may not be a timetable for every single stop.

    You might phone them.

There is a bus stop outbound on the N7 at Newlands Cross. After that the next one is at Citywest. Its just after the off ramp into city west. Its almost opposite the Eircom building and browns barn on the opposite side of the road. Its nothing more than a bus stop, no shelter or nothing, and its right on the main road.

There is also a private bus that goes from the Red Cow Luas stop(if your sons school bus could drop him there.) to Newbridge. It is called Dublin Coach. Much cheaper than Bus Eireann and more comfortable
