You could get a universal charger in a computer shop (Just be sure that it will work with your laptop).

What model number is your laptop.

Genuine Dell chargers can be bought for about 50 quid from Dell them selves. I'd much rather buy a genuine one than a universal adapter or one from ebay.

    Here's a link.

thanks for the replies, does it have to be from online so, would pc world or those kind of shops, not stock dell chargers and sell them for dell or anything

The likes of pcworld would only sell universal charger's but i would not recomend them for a dell as some of them will not work right on dell's they will power them but will not charge the battery

And they are usually in and around the same price as genuine Dell chargers.

As suggested, you could pick one up second hand on adverts.

I can get a PA10 or a PA12 for 33 Euro including shipping from http://www.pcscience.com/ (trade only supplier) , If either of them are the charger you need I will see if they will ship direct to you if not I can post to you or you could collect it from me in Waterford.
