Connect your student email to iphone/ipod

    Hi

    Just to let people know it is possible to have your LIT student email connected to the "mail" app that comes pre-installed on your iphone/ipod. Computer services will tell you it can't be done but I'm saying it can if you follow these steps.

    From the home screen go to

    settings>> Mail, contacts, calendars>> Add account>> Microsoft exchange

    Enter the following details on the screen

    Email: KXXXXXXXX@student.lit.ie
    Domain:
    Username: KXXXXXXXX@student.lit.ie
    Password: Enter your own personal password here
    Description: Student
    Click Next
    Server: www.outlook.com

    This is made possible because the college has moved to the live@edu email system
