    Some impressive colours on the radar :)

    Wonder how would people cope if these colours ever showed up at snowtime :D especially when you consider the dark blue patches often bring "heaviest snow ever" reports ;) :P :pac:

    Anyway enjoy the rain :P Dont think rain is as intense as indicated, Valentia only place with moderate rain at 16:00. Light Rain or Cloud for everyone else.

    The radar has being playing up recently and not really showing things as they are. Will be interesting to see if places actually get that torrential rain that the radar is showing.

    Yeah its showing rain for me since 3.30 when its been dry all evening. Raintoday seems to be more accurate

    Driving home through Sligo at 5.30.. and there was definitely a mix of heavy rain and sleet.

    There was some very heavy rain in Cork about 2 hours ago. A lot lighter now

    Than band of rain brought nothing more than a few moderate bursts here totaling 3.6mm. Oddly, the temp is dropping again 3.1c after a chilly max of 4.0c earlier.

    The rain is turning increasingly steely here with a lot of hail mixed in. Rain and wind have both picked up noticeably in the past hour
