    hey there!
    Just looking for some information about pursing a carer in computer game development. so for the past few years i have being teaching myself how to program (Objective-C,HTML,C++ and others) and level design (Cod:Waw Radient) now i have been looking at courses and since i didn't do my leaving cert and i don't qualify as a mature student i'm screwed??? so is there another way to go?

    As far as I know you will have to go back and do the leaving, only one year.All you have to do is the bear minimum because you only have to get into a PLC(points wonl't be really high). I onlt know of PLCs that require high points and asz far as i know you only have to pass you LC to get in. Colsaite Stiofan Naofa in cork is the only course I know of, it will be reasonably cheap if you live in cork as the fees for CAO applicant ( the registration fee) is only 500 quid as apposed to a university which is 1650 p/a. You can even do your leavind in the same college if you wanted...
    as far as i know thats the only way , Im more then likley wrong :)
