Help Finding/Designing a knitting Pattern

Hi I would like to knit a jumper/sweater with Lightning McQueen from the Disney/Pixar film Cars or Thomas the Tank Engine on the front for a 3-4 year old.
Would anyone have a pattern for this? or advise on how to creat one?

How much experience of knitting do you have? Have you knitted intarsia before?

It's possible to make your own intarsia grid from a picture, there are a couple of tutorials online. You'd need to use a base pattern for the jumper and count how many rows and stitches you have to work with beforehand.

Going to do a search to see if there's a pattern to be had now and will be back to you.
