    Hi all.

    Could anybody tell me who you would contact about excused absences? I have to travel home for a funeral today and will miss a lab I will have tomorrow.

    Im college of science btw.

    contact the lecturer(s) just to let them know. they're usually understanding about this sort of thing, and just follow it up when you come back with a visit to them, and ask what you've missed and such. i missed a few labs earlier this year for illness, and they were all understanding about it.

    Tell lecturer, but also email them to ensure there's a formal record of your reason for absence.
