Numbers od houses built in the last 10-15 yrs

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently doing my thesis, as part of it I need to find out how many houses were built in the last 10-15 yrs. Does anyone know where the most reliable source to find this would be? I've tried the CIF and CSO, but so fat no luck.

I would be most grateful for any and all suggestions

I came about something on this, I think, on the CSO web page. I know I was looking for planning applciations granted/refused etc per county but I thought it gave more info than that. It is a good few months back mind you.
There are very detailed stats on their page about construction.

I would have a look on the ESRI Website. http://www.esri.ie/. Others are Eurostat, IIEA (Institute of International and European Affairs), SEAI. Government publications, i.e. Energy white papers etc.

Check out the publications section. i found alot of the publications were a valuable resource when carrying out my dissertation.

All the above have data on housing in ireland, maybe not directly but they may have other sources referenced in their publications. The SEAI publications give alot of good data.
