Car Stereo problems since flat battery, not code issue

Hi, battery went flat and alternator had to be repaired also. Since then, radio not working - it turns on but no stations will tune in, display is very faint, and doesn't light up at night like it did before. Also, cd player not working, any ideas?

Hi, just to update, I got someone who's handy to look at this, he took stereo out and it was a blown fuse at back of stereo.
