recycle bin delete

    a program file has been deleted from recycle bin , can anybody recommend an undelete programplus this pc is used by a number of people so i do not know when this happened, can the file location on hard drive be overwritten? if this is the case is this file gone forever or can it still be retreived:(.
    any help greatly appreciated.

    I'd take Reccuva portable off that list and install it to a USB stick, as it is better not to install or write anything to the HDD if at all possible. The larger the program file and the more the HDD has been written to the less chance of recovering a working version of the file :(
