Melbourne for the weekend!!??

Hi All,

Myself and my Boyf are currently in Sydney on WHV, we've been working since landing in Nov and thinking of heading down to Melbourne for a weekend the end of Feb...

It'll prob be our only time in this part of the country... Just looking for some ideas on whats not to be missed and on what we should do while there.
Also if anyone has any suggestions on cheap (ish) accomm... We dont want to spend too much on it! But somewhere fairly central would be handy..
