    I am studying Jurisprudence and am wondering what is the link between jurisprudence and literature such as;

    Rope (Hitchcock Film)
    To Kill a mockingbird
    Schindler's List
    Twelve angry men
    Shawshank Redemption

    If you look closely at Lee Cobb's name tag in 12 angry men, you will see that it says "H.L.A. Harte".

    RTFM :)

    The linkages are linkages you need to develop by learning the various elements in the study of jurisprudence. The lecturer you have in terms of this is well known on the Irish legal lecturing circuit. If you have his manual, read it and refer to the acronym I placed in front of the smilie face above.

    You should be able to seek concepts such as positivism, natural law/justice, post positivism, legal realism, etc. You might also want to read this: http://www.nullapoena.de/stud/explorers.html the chances are its in your materials.

    The study of jurisprudence is important and you should spend some time on it.

    There are some UK nutshell books which see to compress down the vast tracts of material that the subject comes with.

    Three of those films are excellent. It's what you take from the story and production, rather than anything else.

    Tom
