Hi all, the time has come to service my dinky again. Last year it cost me 160eur to service it. How much are garages charging this year?
my car is fiat 500 1.4l.

If its a newish car I'd stick with the same place if there a main dealer or whatever, no point in taking it from billy to jack to save maybe €40 in my opinion. What year is it?

Ring a couple of local FIAT dealers, see who offers you the best deal. Don't forget to tell them you're ringing around for the best deal. :)

Depends on what needs doing at this service interval really.

Fiat dealer in wicklow town wants 200euros for full service this year comparing to 160eur I was charged last year and that included new front wiper.
my car is 08 reg and has 20k km on it. next service is due at 24k but I don't drive too much so it'll be long until it gets to 24k+ and over 1.5year since the last service.

cheers lads, I'll try to shop around I suppose...

Hi,I had the same problem, low milage, with my bravo tjet 150.
Milage was 24k but not due till 30k but i did it due to the car being under warranty and also that they do the software updates.
I know any garages can do the service, the fiat guys know what to look out for and the car is troublefree.
I got quotes of 330,250 and 170 for the full service,170 from where i got the car in clonmel but Grandons matched the 170 inc vat and this included plugs, etc.

Shop around but be careful that the correct oil and parts are used.

    Regards,

    Kieran
