PCK sound? windows 7 hp pavillion?

    Since last night I have had this "pck" sound happening. I have recorded it so you can see what I mean. It is at regular intervals which had me thinking it could be to do with latency or something but I am on a laptop and I dont even think my bios has those options to mess with.
