It's just another day at school for West London teenagers Trife (Aml Ameen) Jay (Adam Deacon) and Moony (Femi Oyeniran): beatings in the classroom, sex on the playing field and drugs in the schoolyard. But things are about to flip sharply for this tight trio and their crowd. With school cancelled following the tragic suicide of bullied pupil Katie, the teenagers are all forced to face their own responsibilities and blame for the situations they have got themselves into.

Compared by critics to Larry Clark's Kids and even the Brazilian drama City Of God, Menhaj Huda's debut is a shocking portrayal of British youth.

Have to buy it for a fiver, even though it will end up in my "still in plastic" collection.

Actually ordered through Amazon. Got it with Paypack, The Negotiator, and Leon. Came to £25.27 in total for the 4, so happy enough with that.
Been meaning to pick up the other 3 for ages anyway!

Saw this originally about 5 years ago and bought it on Blu-Ray around Christmas only watching it tonight again. Super film. I think this was one of Noel Clarke's first attempts at directing and he did a damn good job. Very grim film, but hits the nail on the head with certain areas of London. Also bought Adulthood so will watch tomorrow night :|
