I've bought TuneIn radio for my ipad and am looking for some recommendations for good radio stations / shows / podcasts. I'm interested in all sorts of music: classical, hip-hop, electronic, oldies, rock, etc and would also like to get some good sports, news, entertainment and comedy recommendations. Can anyone help?

You can't go too far wrong with This American Life

I can't give music recommendations as I'm not really into that, but for talk/news try the BBC and NPR, plenty of podcasts to dip into.

    WXRT Chicago

I may be a little biased, but everyone that I have turned on to XRT have become fans.

Here is the link to their main site. http://wxrt.radio.com/ You'll be able to get some scheduling information for their programming.

    www.radioparadise.com

Radio Paradise is a popular and pioneering Internet radio station that defines itself as "eclectic online rock radio". The channel differs from most FM channels and other Internet stations in that the music played is not limited to any specific genre but instead represents great variety. Radio Paradise mostly plays different styles of pop and rock music, but occasionally also everything from jazz to classical to electronic music and world music. All of the styles are DJ-mixed.

I love this station. It plays the type of music that I like. It's mixed by a human so there's an actual pattern to how one song flows into the next. There are no ads !!

I am also a fan of TuneIn radio, for oldies you have to try Antenne Bayern (oldies but goodies) A german station with lots of tracks in a row with the odd station announcement.Superb sound.;)

for various types of electronica, www.di.fm . their sister network www.sky.fm is also good for oldies classical and associated styles . www.1.fm is also worth checking out . and www.somafm.com has a few channels to which are good.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.
