Im looking for help with Ubuntu server package manager. I have installed it onto virtual box on my laptop. The problem is i cant seem to connect to the package manager on it. I can ping web address from the the command line. But when i run run apr-get update it wont connect to any of the sources?

    Any ideas?

Could be a firewall issue. Make sure your firewall allows outbound connections from the virtual server.

Also double-check that your Ubuntu server has correct IP settings (including DNS)
