Is there any such set up as staying with families abroad, especially in Eastern Europe?
Like b&b's but with the possibility of having dinner with families too?

    Try couchsurfing?

Wow - that's some resource. Have you used it? What was your experience?
It's great but I was hoping for something more domesticated.

More domesticated that staying in someone's house?

You could also try a Home Stay. Couchsurfing is free and as such you may find it harder to find a host (especially if you're not female and blonde). With a Home Stay, as you're paying you're more likely to get a bed. Try www.homestayperu.net if you're thinking of going to Peru.

I mean domesticated as in homely.
