I am applying for the the masters in marketing and management in cork for sept 2011, I am just wondering if i have a good chance of getting into this course or if i am wasting my time? I have a degree in commerce from NUIG and I specialised in marketing in my final yr, the requirements for this course ''is a second-class honours grade in a primary degree without a significant management or marketing component (as adjudicated by the Programme Director, but normally less than 30 ECTS credits)'' does this mean that because i have specialised in marketing in my final year I don't have a good chance of getting in? also has anyone else taken this course? any feedbck would be great!

Do you really think that a degree in Commerce is what they mean by a degree "without a significant management or marketing component"? This degree sounds like it is directed at non business graduates.

I kinda thought that alright but because I studied a wide range of business subjects and does not officailly state on my degree that I come from a marketing Background as opposed to a direct degree in marketing I thought this might apply to me too! I am aswell to just email the course director and see what he says!:)
