    If one wanted to move abroad and cut all ties to Ireland is it possible to do so? How can you remove the hold of the state from you?

    You might want to go to a country where there is no extradition treaty I suppose. :D

    Marry a royal in a different country, that would usually require you to rescind your Irish nationality in favour of theirs ;)

    Just remember to "leave" the catholic church also, those fúckers get in everywhere.

    Although the formal defection process is in limbo now, they must've been leaving in droves.

    You never gave your religion so post 5 is just an assumption
