Hi I'm looking for a place that I can get my hair cut cheaply in Dublin - its long and layered. Do people recomend the student training places or does anyone know of any good offers - I'm a student myself so would get that discount

I was in Mary Street, Dublin last week and saw an advert for ladies wash cut and blowdry for €15.00. The shop is on your right hand side if you are walking towards Capel Street, I think it is in the Old Mary Street Mall. Sorry I don't know the name of the shop but the advert was on a board on a pole (the type a person usually holds and directs you too while sitting on a stool) The pole was right outside the shop. It is opposite a housewares type shop.

Hi, I got my hair done by a student in robert chambers on grafton street before christmas, cut, colour and blowdry for about €40/€50, not sure how much a cut alone is, but the student did a great job on my hair, really happy with it

I got a cut and Highlight in this place years ago with the classes. The girl was lovely and really listened to what I had asked for, I wanted loads of random layers to thin out my hair as its so thick. She did a fairly good job. The supervising hairdresser then came over to inspect it, and decided to tidy it up I guess, and she butchered it. She cut into all the layers and within literally 2 minutes she had halved the weight of my hair and left me with what looked like a crop and hair extensions. So make sure if you get it done with classes that everyone knows whats meant to be going on, I still can't believe she did that......

If you join pigsback.com you can get a wash, cut, blow dry and 20minute head massage for €26 in Fame on Georges Street or Bray- it's on their megadeals for the next 2 days. Heard great things about the salon so at least you know you'll get a good job done on your hair for the price :D
