PC vs PS3 controls

I've always played CoD on PC but have recently bought a Playstation 3 with CoD Black Ops.

I'm finding it quite an adjustment using the controller rather than a keyboard and a mouse. I've always found more precise control with the mouse&keyboard.

How do people get so good using just the PS3 controller?

Years of console gaming have given most of us the hand to eye co-ordination of a god :pac:

The kb&m vs joypad debate has been doing on for ages, I used to play fps on my pc back in the Unreal, Quake, Half Life days, and its definitely more accurate and faster to use, but I completely disagree that pc players are better at fps games, thats simply not true. one of my friends is a pc only gamer and watching him trying to use a pad is akin to a 13 year old trying to unhook a bra :D

FPS games do work better on a mouse no doubt, every other game is better on a joypad (except RTS and MMORPG games obviously) I couldnt imagine trying to play something like Uncharted 2 on a keyboard, bleurgh.

Just takes a bit of time mate, took me about 2 or 3 months before i started getting really good on the PS3.

Dont agree with krudler tho, the skill level on PC is a million miles past that of consoles, at least it is at the top end of competitive gaming, more to do wiith how long these guys have been playing than the keyboard and mouse tho. The average joe on each tho, i guess they're about the same(PC Would still win because the m/k >> dualshock).

Same ol same ol. Of course the m&k is better for fps s . If you're good on pc you will be good on console after some practice. As I said before , same skill set more or less applies.

I actually found the controller much easier than kb&m mainly because of the aim assist it has.

Not half as challenging mind you.

To answer you question, practise lol.
