Anyone use this joystick in FSX? I have one and want to ask a question about trim. The throttle can be split and I have been using one half for throttle and the other for elevator trim. Anyone use this joystick in FSX? I have one and want to ask a question about trim.
The throttle can be split and I have been using one half for throttle and the other for elevator trim. Not sure that it is suitable because it means that alt hold doesn't work in autopilot - the trim seems to have precedence. This doesn't happen when I apply trim using the up and down arrows. The trim gets canceled once you pull on the stick or change alt with autopilot. It's nice applying trim with a lever rather than tapping buttons. Is there a way around this?
