Looks good, hell of a cast as well. Affleck has been good lately, brilliant in The Town

Just watched it, rubbish. Chris Cooper was good but everyone else was just acting by numbers. I didn't care about the characters or their plight. It was just a boring film.

Was going to watch it due to the decent cast-won't bother now, even the premise seemed a bit boring.

You'd be missing out on a fine film.
    I thoroughly enjoyed it .
Its a bit slow moving ,but its a thoughtful ,well written insight into modern corporate America and the putting of profit before people.
The acting is top notch, its well shot and the score is excellent.
Writer/director John Wells (his film debut) was a long time scribe on The West Wing and did a good job here .
I'm surprised it didnt get more Oscar buzz, its far better than alot of the films supposedly in the mix.

It is from John Wells (ER).

Anyways I enjoyed Affleck and Cooper's performances immensely. I am surprised at the lack of attention the film is getting considering the actors involved.

I thought it was good. Topical and contemplative without the cheese. Even Kevin Costner is tolerable.

I liked it. Some scenes kinda reminiscent to the job situation here. I do feel that some of the actors were wasted abit .i.e Kevin Costner only had about 15 mins screen time.

Nice little movie, and Chris Cooper definitely steals the show imo.

I also enjoyed this, thought the acting and writing were strong throughout.

I wouldn't say it was a problem, but something that did erk me a little..the story of people who live in big mansions, driving porches and getting flown on private jets having to do some hard labour for a few months didn't get the greatest amount of sympathy from me.

I thought it would have been a bit more relatable if Chris Coopers character (a bit more of 'normal'/middle class character) had had more screen time. I couldn't see why Tommy Lee Jones character had that much screen time, to look apathetic about his riches and possition,
get bored shagging his new gf and decide to start a company
. Obviously I'm over simplifying his story/character a bit, but (hopefully) you get the idea.

    Watched this recently.

Has a great cast with some terrific acting performances.

Also has a very well worked visual style with a lot of well worked camera movement.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, would definitely recommend (for those interested in films, not hollywood tosh).

Agreed! Really enjoyed this movie and the slow pace I think was crucial to it.
I think that a big cast can detract from the actual movie, but this was pretty low key and everyone performed really well.
