Help With My Driving Licence

    My car was broken into 2 nights ago, and my driving licence which i left in the car was robbed.
    My problem is, I used to live in england and have been driving on an english/european licence, now i have to get an irish licence but how do i do it.
    I drive for a living so cant be waiting around to do a test again.....is there anyway i can get an irish licence?

    The company i drive for have a photo-copy of my full english licence, dunno if this will help.

    And btw, the gardai couldnt tell me what to do, thats why im asking.
