There's quite a big Asian population over there

Yeah i know that i have lived there for a few years,i just didn't think there would be much work for a tefl teacher in a English speaking country.

would be easier to just employ an Australian English teacher would it not?

I know two irish girls doing it (TEFL) and they said that the whole class basicly has perfect english, so I'm sure you can figure out why there is a market for it.

What language do you speak in Ireland?

How many English language schools are there?

I was working here (Melbourne) doing TEFL. I was doing relief teaching and filling in for someone on maternity leave so not there at the mo but hope to get back in.

There's loads of schools here and I'm sure it's the same in Sydney. Pretty similar setup to at home if you've taught there. Like in any industry there's obviously some dodge schools but just look out for them.

Pay was great too, I was on $42 p/h or something, sweet as!

    What qualifications have you got?

Any other Q's give me a shout.

    I speak English in Ireland.

And I don't know how many English language schools are here, but they teach English in all the primary and secondary schools,so I wouldn't think there is many.

I would of thought that was quite obvious btw
