    Hello All,

First time poster here. Ive been single for about 3 years now and have been ok with that. However now i as reach 30 im getting a bit anxious about being alone. I dont know if anyone else here feels lonely from time to time? Its so hard and difficult sometimes being alone. That feeling of emptiness you get.
Im not feeling sorry for myself but living in rual ireland it can be very hard to meet decent guys who wont play games with you.

I would love to hear from other people who have a similar story to myself:)

where roughly do you live? There are groups springing up all over Ireland now

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

    Hi Sam,

Im 30 also and know exactly what your talking about! Ive recently been to 3 weddings which dont help! Sometimes I feel like its facing the impossible finding a long term gay relationship! That said, I try to be cool about it and hold out with the thought that everything works out in the end! Everybody is lonely from time to time - its a natural feeling. Sometimes I dread the thought of the possibility of growing old alone - but Id imagine this is not a gay only issue.

Im from the west also - the country orig but live mainly in Galway city now which I can assure you is no mecca for gay lads!

There are groups in Galway, Mayo, Donegal, Clare

Im sure there is probably a group relatively local to you
