Where do we begin to learn about Warhammer?

    Hi there,

    let me begin by saying I know nothing of this gaming world but my 8 year son would like to collect the figures, in particular War Hammer. Now I know there is a strategic game involved with these figures but how can we learn the basics? The Game Workshop in Blancharstown is closed now. Are there any clubs in Meath? Or decent websites that can advise us on how to learn the games without the hard sell or confusion!

    Pop on into dublin city centre and there are 2 shops within a few mins of each other, GQ on liffey street and gamersworld on jervis street and you will find all the stuff you need there, best advice would be to go gw for an intro and if you like anything go down the road to gamersworld where everything is cheaper :-)

    Another option is to check out a few websites, like beastofwar.com or youtube and there should be a load of intro vids and advice
