Early morning Yoga or Pilates classes?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but somebody might be able to help.

Would anyone know of any Yoga or Pilates classes in and around the Dublin 2 / 4 area that are on early in the morning (around 7am)? The Physio recommended a taking a class of either of these as part of marathon training and it'd suit me better to get a class before work as I can't guarantee getting out at a regular time and I'll be doing LSRs at the weekend.

    Cheers in advance! :)

    Hi Claralara

Haven't tried this school yet but I've heard the teachers are excellent

http://www.openmindyoga.ie/yoga-classes/ and there's a 7.15- 8.30 for yoga 1 level on a Tuesday morning if that suits you.

There's no early morning class in this school http://www.yogadublin.com/ but I did the beginners course (3 times!) in the ranelagh branch of this school when I started doing yoga last year and it was great.

And another studio in Ballsbridge http://www.yoga.ie/, but again doesn't seem to have the early morning classes

Don't know this studio either but they have an early class on a Wednesday in town http://www.lotusyoga.ie/early-morning-yoga-dublin

Let us know how you get on....

you might also try bikram yoga in harolds cross slightly out of your way, but well worth going to. Monday morning class at 6.30 is savage.

ps I come in from kildare to get there so a little trip across dublin shouldnt put you off:)

    Check out http://www.ashtangaireland.com/ , http://www.ashtangadublin.com/ and
    http://www.ashtangayogaireland.ie
I think one of them does an early morning ashtanga self practice, which would be perfect if you are preparing for a marathon.

sanovitae, near the point depot as early morning classes, one of them is yoga. http://www.clarionhotelifsc.com/health-fitness/sanovitae-health-fitness-club/

the location is good, but they are quite expensive.

Hey guys, thanks for the above. I had a quick look and then (typically!) long fingered the plan. However, after running the waterforf half marathon on Saturday and feeling the aching in the legs and lower back in particular, I've realised that the Physio wasn't just having a laugh when she said I needed to work on my core to support me :o

My gym sent out a new timetable of classes at the weekend there which has a beginners pilates class on Mondays at 8.30pm that suits me. So I'm going to give that a go for a few weeks and see how it pans out. Saves the pennies for a while too as classes are free for members. I'll reassess in a few weeks and see if I should change / up the effort.

I went for the first time this eve and yep I've a long way to go to touch those toes!

    Thanks again! :)

Looking for any more recent info on this. Found one or two classes but they all seem to end at 8.30 or 9 which is a little late for me.

This new-ish place does 90 min classes starting at 6.30:

I haven't tried it yet but it always looks busy.
