Anybody know if these (or similar) are sold in Ireland, or would I have to
buy in UK. Need an indoor version as I'm getting a lot of dampness/condensation under car cover. Car in shed with demumidifier but I think i'ts still too damp.

I've seen them for sale the odd time on done deal. TBH it would be as cheap getting it from the UK.

    How effective are these really.
They just seem to be blowing in the same air that is circulating in the garage already, at the same relative humidity.
Will the same amount of condensation/dampness not be present ?
Doesn't really make alot of sense to me unless there's a dehumidifier incorporated with a reheat facility for the air.

Info on Carcoon website says that air is recirculated inside unit, maybe this causes air to 'dry out'. I've placed order for carcoon and when it arrives will
try leaving small dehumidifier inside it for a short period to initally dry out air and car.

Mine has a filter on the intake to dehumidify the air, you could, as was suggested earlier, pop a small dehumidifier into it when it's running. One issuse I found was that if it is very cold, water will never leave your car, just sit in it and never dry out.

How are you getting dampness under the cover? What sort of cover is it?

The cover is an outdoor car cover with a sort inner lining and is 'supposedly' able to breathe.
Some water/dampness entering shed and settling on floor under car, and
when cover removed patches of wet on car. Set up carcoon and followed all
instructions incl. having engine warm and leaving small flap open at end of cocoon until just after full inflation. Checked car last week and perfectly dry
and free from condensation. Another benefit is that windows can be left slightly open, so interior also benefits.
The plastic material in Carcoon seems very light and could easily damage so placed carpet tiles on 'groundsheet' section when
driving car onto it. Also has loops on top edges which could allow tying cocoon to roof beams to avoid collapsing completly when removing car.
Overall very happy with product and quite reasonable price considering
amount spent on paintwork and bodywork. Can't say the cats were as impressed as they have lost their comfortable perch.
