Seems a good price. These are very, very, very slow though. So keep that in mind!

Good price for a good, reliable product, speeds not a big issue tbh.

I remembered to bookmark this one that popped up on HotUKDeals:

ByteStor 16GB USB High Speed "Dataferry" Flash Drive ( Pink one )

    £13.99
Transfer speeds of 15MB/s Write and 30MB/s Read. :pac:

Maybe not for your usage habits - but without qualification the above statement is worthless.

    have one of these also

unless its small files your transferring then
it'll take what seems like an eternity to fill it

    Let me qualify that:

If your life depends upon a speedy transfer of data intensive files e.g. your undertaking international espionage on behalf of your government, you gain access to your targets sensitive data and need to get it onto the Sandisk Cruzer before some hired goons enter the room and assasinate you then, this may not be the product for you.

or if you are impatient and don't want to wait half an hour as opposed
to 10 mins to transfer 7gb of data then it's not for everybody.
Had i taken the time to look at the speeds before i bought and not
jumped at the sale price then i wouldn't have bothered at all

Or if you run portable apps, recovery cds, live cds, or even an entire operating system from it or regularly transfer large files between computers. I use usb keys all day everyday and could not put up with the speed of these drives.

I have had a dataferry drive and the corsair gt's but their casings are pants. My current favourites are the jetflash 600 and 620 drives not the pinnacle of speed but they are slim enough to slot in next to almost anything.

Got one of these for my girlfriend recently and they really are painfully slow! Don't come with any kind of protective cover for connection either... Decent, reliable bit of kit for that price though, just don't expect decent write speeds!!!
