im never eating venison again after the night i have just had

i starting a technicolour yawn at 11 last night and havent stopped since. i tried to drink a pint of orange juice 5 mins ago but it just bounced off my stomach. the worst thing is that im pissing rusty water out of my swiss as well and when i puke i lose the ability to keep my baloon knot closed.

has venison or any other meat caused this with anyone else?

    Venison is lovely...

It's highly unlikely that the venison caused it. There's a stomach bug going around at the moment, 24 hour bug. Wouldn't advise drinking OJ on a sick stomach either, it's very harsh. A plain ice-cream bar is your only man, great at easing the aul stomach.

    I've never had it.

    It's too deer.

Sounds like that deer you ate, lived on a diet of magic mushrooms.

Nice grub though and had it before with no issues. Maybe it was off?

The only thing you should really be drinking is water. Coffee would be much better than milk however.

What did you have with it? Any sauces or anything?

Then again, could well be that bug, had one myself two months back and vomited so much, my esophagus swelled up and even started to bleed.

Was over the worst of it in five days or so.

Sipping iced water with a teaspoon of Bicarb of Soda helped me, was all the doc would allow me to drink.

It's most likely you've got a stomach bug. Flat coke or lemonade is the best option as it'll rehydrate you quickly.

Dioralyte - yer only man for rehydrating yourself, plus a glass of Andrews to settle your stomach.

Keep away from the coffee if you can it's a natural laxative, by the sounds of things you are currently experiencing impressive liquidity, coffee will only make that worse.

Flat 7up is good when you're ill.

And if it's still too fizzy, you should lie down on the ground to drink it.

    As per my previous post.
Arklow people ARE cnuts! The proof is in the pudding folks. The main ingredient in this particular pudding being Bambi!

I wish to add murdering pricks to this list now too!

Was it wild or farmed? If wild, was it shot? Lead pellets and a touch of pisoning, etc.

Yeqh, sounds like a bug or mild poisoning. Advice above is good especially the dioralyte. Any chemist will have it.

Take 2 motillium tablets to settle our stomach. And if ya have some Imodium take them, 1-2 depending what you think is best, I normally take one, I took 2 Imodium plus last year and couldnt take a dump for a week an a half.

If it's a stomach bug he shouldn't take imodium, it will only make him worse by stopping the bug being flushed out of his system.

+1 avoid imodium etc unless advised by a doc.

I'm gonna back up the Diaoralyte for rehydration. Drinking glasses and glasses of water is no use if you've no electrolytes in your system.

had some of that dioralyte a while ago, felling ok now. thanks for the advice guys, still dying for a coffee though:(

I feel sorry for ya mate. On the plus side, I've enjoyed a nice breakfast, fry-up for lunch, and now I'm getting stuck in to a Massaman Curry for dinner.

I'm not sure how that's a plus side for you. :pac:
