I got a pair in River Island recently and find them good quality, they were €13 I think.

About a year ago I got a pair on Dorothy Perkins and they were good quality, after months of wearing and washing they lost their shape and have little 'balls' on them (sorry I can't think of another way to describe it :o), but they were worth the £10 (I think it was £10 anyway lol) that I paid for them.

Topshop have leggings, they are around €18 (the ones I saw in Liffey Valley were anyway) and they are much the same as River Island, just a bit more expensive.

I know what you mean about the Dunnes one..the fabric is yuk, and they go kinda see thru and don't retain their shape or even the colour black. I do have a back up pair of them for when my Topshop ones are in the wash. The Topshop ones I have had for a few years I reckon at this stage and are still great, so recommend paying out for a pair.

The Lipsy ones are very thick and don't lose shape easily.

I swear by Zara ones and have a few Bershka pairs as backups. I practically live in them. :o

I have Zara ones and F21 ones, they're all great. I do have Penneys ones too- the problem with them is they tend to rip extremely easily.

Topshop leggings are definitely my favourite. I don't think they're all that expensive either. I always buy a size down to avoid baggy knees etc.

Out of interest, do you all wear your leggings with skirts/dresses, long tops or just on their own with a regular-length top?

Personally I think leggings are their own are gross because you can see the outline of people's backsides..

I wouldn't wear leggings with a t-shirt etc., unless it was over-sized and covered my bum. I think I'm biggest at my hip/bum area though, so wearing a short top with leggings would accentuate that and that's a no-no imo. I don't have a problem with others doing the leggings/short t-shirt combo though, each to their own. :)

I only wear them with tops and jumpers that are mid thigh length or below.

H&M leggings are great. I've had my black ones for about 9 months now, wear them all the time and they haven't lost their shape, faded, gone seethrough-ish etc.

I hate that, I have to have the top long enough to cover everything...they're not trousers people! In Penney's the display always has normal sized tshirts hanging over racks full of leggings, it really shouldn't be encouraged...:P
