what is an eglinton plaster finish

    Hi All,

    Can anyone explain what is an eglinton plaster finish is?, is it a type of plaster applactation? or is it a make of plaster if so where can one buy it??. all or any help thanks

    Moan,
    As far as I know it is (was) a Trade Name to an EWI render finish system.
    Some people call the finish off as trade names (Eglington) others by the system name (EWI).
    I am open to being corrected on this by the way.;)

    my plaster said we are going to use egglinton plaster he told me to decide on what colour and get 3 pallets of it. i've asked around but cant find out who sells it.:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

    Not been smart but why not just ask your plasterer exactly what it is, where to source etc... Remember, it's YOUR house, not his, and you should be sure of the finishes prior to agreeing anything, with everything going into it:confused:
    Is it an EWI system of K-Rend type finish you are getting???? Who speced it all for you?
