    I know it shouldn't be there, but it's big, it's stationary, and it kind of stands out! How did you get 'squeezed' by this bus?:)

    why dont you offer him an out of insurence settlement. Pointing out that if you go through insurence he will have to get the work done where as if he settles and lives with the scratch/bump the money can go towards his next car...

    Ive seen many a time cars that are in the lane to turn at Doyles Corner having to scrape the path so that they can avoid getting hit by the 46a or any large vehicle thats coming down from the North Circular Rd.

    You were just unfortunate in this case that you hit his car.

    If he was in the car it wasn't technically parked and couldn't be ticketed but I would say if it was during peak hours it happened and you take a look on that lampost you will see that it's a clearway within these hours and his car shouldn't be there.

    Ah come on now! If you think the bus is going to hit you you don't scrape the path and you don't drive into parked cars - you stop.

    Edit: I think the OP knows this already. Commiserations to the OP - at least it wasn't a Ferrari. ;)
