How much would a 2m long x 200mm deep x 60mm high oak mantle piece be (suitable for a stove) ? Im just looking for the plank + some corbells. Is this something only a joinery would do really or would there be place where this would be available

local chippys or a local furniture type maker would be able to do something up pretty cheaply. wouldnt expect it to cost very much at all to be honest. got something similar, except it had side planks coming down at each end to support it and it cost €200 and had a wire brushed grain running through it.

Any local joiners should be able to source that for you cheaply, say €50 - 80.
