HI what's the price for one adult going from limerick to Carlow on the 22nd at 7am and returning 26th??

also what time would i want to leave Carlow to get back to limerick so i get in at 2pm?? i have work at 3pm and don't want to be late

There is the 12 bus at 7.30am from Limerick arriving at Portlaoise at 9.30am, then the number 73 from Portlaoise to Carlow at 10.30 getting to Carlow at 11.30am. or get the 55 bus to Waterford then the number 4 to Carlow, longer road times but less time waiting for connection. adult return €31.50 and student return €25.65 when boked online.

JJ Kavanaghs also do busses from Limerick to Dublin and Dublin to Carlow and costs approximitely €20 return for each leg of the journey.

returning on the 26th you should get the 8.50am number 4 bus from Carlow to Waterford then the number 55 at 10.50am from Waterford to Limerick arriving at 13.15pm

you could also get the train but this costs about €44 each way http://irishrail.ie/your_journey/timetables_junction1.asp

It is at least 10% dearer to buy your tickets in the bus station or on board from the driver
