Like most things I'm into ......... i'm an amateur video, editing man

I've made a ton of stuff with scripts etc but over the next few months i'm gonna be filming events that i'm playing at, the video below is my first bash and i didn't take a 100 things into account arriving at the club like smoke machines, lighting or sound .............:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Anyway just wondering if anyone has any experince of shooting in a club and if they have any tips for the next time around, i was hoping to plug stright into the the mixer and record a few sets but with the smoke machine the djs kind of dissapered, next gig is in the vaults and i'd like the next video to be a progression of the one below.

I'd 60 mins of footage and about 6 mins of it was usable (i didn't shoot at all on the night)

    Any feedback welcome

I usually take a few vids in clubs when i go out but just with my phone (check out my YouTube page) but when i have the cash i plan on buying a proper camcorder to shoot videos.

I like the first person feeling of it, with the car journey at the start. You might like this video:

Yeah loads of ideas from that cheers, i suppose we were a bit weary of sticking a camera in peoples faces when there on a night out with a few drinks in them, as you said though need to get a bit more up close and personal with the next one.

I liked the shots from outside, hopefully we have a few folk queuing outside to begin with :D

    Cheers
