Problems Registering Xperia X8 on MyVodafone.ie

Ive tried to register my sony ericsson xperia x8 with vodafone online but its not accepting my IMEI number when i put it in. I can't ask on the vodafone forum because i'm still not registered (because of the IMEI problem). Can anyone help? Cheers.
