    Hi,
Can anyone advise where I can get microsoft office (for 2 computers) and windows 7 (home premium) cheapest. I am not entitled to a discount (though I teach part time in a hospital, they say as my contract is with the hospital and not the college I do not get discounted software)
Thanks and apologies if I am wearing this topic out I just do not want to buy things twice or waste cash.

you could try the 3 pack student home office package - but you can't use it for commercial purposes
remember if you don't need the lock-in features openoffice is free

windows 7 , check how much you could sell your computer for second hand add this to the price you would pay for windows 7 - how close does this get to the price of a new computer of the same spec as your existing one ?

3 licence of home and student is 130 euro, that's as cheap as it'll come without going Open Source. windows licences- if you'r erunning windows vista it's cheap to get an upgrade version, pop it in and it will keep all your software and documents aswell

    Office 3-user is 78 sterling from amazon.co.uk.
As for Windows 7 Home Premium. It is pricy. What version of windows is currently on the license stickers (if any) on your machines?
