Air-Con Gas Re-Fill (Car) in Galway?

My air-con in the car is leaking badly and want to get it sorted (cause it's so warm out and all....)

Basically I need to get a pro to look at it and do a leakdown test, empty the system and re-fill it (standard procedure)

Can anyone recommend anyone in Galway City? I can go to them or they can come to me - not an issue.

There is a specialist beside the cinema in Oranmore.

If you go through the gate after the cinema (past the underground carpark and security hut) and go immediatly right, they're at the end on the left.

We were sent there by a main dealer a few years ago, and they've filled a couple of cars for us since. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the place.

I can't remember how much they charged, but I think it depends on how much solution you need.

Car Parts Warehouse sell a double pack refill which includes a light to spot a leak if you want to try doing it yourself. They were cheaper than any other motor factors the last time I needed one (I haven't been to Halfords yet, so I don't know if they're any cheaper). I've found the DIY kits very good.

Bradleys also have the machine for doing this, but you'd have to ring them for a price.

Thanks a lot Fey, will ring around in the morning.

Halfords have a re-fill kit at 70euro (can be bought for about 40 online). However this stuff is no good as I have a serious leak - a DIY re-gas is only lasting 2 days. I can't be arsed hanging around the engine bay with a UV light to check, i'm just going to pay for it to be done properly.

Glad you mentioned Bradley's - the buggers owe me a favour!
