USB devices not recognised?

    Lads,

    Just a quick one I hope someone may help me to resolve.

    Anytime I plug something (such as iphone, portibe hard drive etc) into a usb drive on my laptop, it's not showing up in explorer. :mad:

    I can hear that sound windows makes when something is plugged in, but that's all. I've tried reinstalling my usb drivers, all are up to date in device manager.

    Any other ideas most welcome! I'm using windows 7 btw :)

    you prob need device drivers

    go to device manager and look for (!) marks.... you need to reinstall usb hub drivers or something

    or try go to windows update and update from that...
